Wake Up. Stay In Bed: Stay Still, Stay Alive.

Deathlike: Awakening is a VR survival horror game in which you are pursued by a terrifying demon-like monster. With a limited scope of vision, only shreds of light in the darkness, you must undo a series of seals to allow yourself to escape from danger. But can you survive that long?

A Simple Story, Told In Blood

The plot of Deathlike: Awakening is sparse, more so than in some other games in its genre such as Amnesia: The Dark Descent. It is also notable for a different graphical style. The environments are often brightly-lit until the demon stalking the player appears, and there is significant use of colour. This makes the game somewhat interesitng to play, an dpossibly better for those with weak vision.

An End To All Things

Overall, Deathlike; Awakening is a simple game that exemplifies its genre in many ways. As of this writing it is a complete product, and it provides an experience that makes ample use of lighting and other factors to create a sense of horror. Some aspects of the gameplay are weaker than others, and there are a few flaws with the VR, but overall this game will play very nicely with an Oculus Rift -- and it's designed to.
